Dinosaur Bar-B-Que

We ordered the 3 meat combo plates so we could share and try most of the options. The food was delicious. The waiter was also friendly and prompt. One of our orders was messed up but they quickly gave us the brisket we wanted for no charge as well.

Visited a few times with my boyfriend and his friend, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this BBQ! Micky usually serves us and she’s fantastic at what she does, we visited on Juneteenth and it was so busy but that didn’t stop Micky from giving exceptional service as always. My go to is the three meat platter with Brisket, Pork Belly and Ribs, I never end up finishing it but you’ll have plenty for a midnight snack. The food is cooked to perfection and I can never not go there when I visit my boyfriend! I get jealous every time he says he’s going to get food from dino without me

Dinner at dinosaur BBQ in Gowanus, Brooklyn, NYC. Made a reservation and our party of 5 was seated right away. Cons: service very slow, food service very slow, and crazy loud. My wife had difficulty speaking to the person next to her. Pro: everyone enjoyed the food. My wife and I didn't love it. Sauces too vinegary. Sweet tea on point. They've got outdoor dining that's dog friendly, but we did indoor last night. Parking can be tough in the area.

Dino bbq is a decent bbq place and above average for New York but don’t try to compare it to real southern style bbq. I got the combo deal with brisket, pulled pork, sausage and an add on of ribs. Everything tastes good and the meat is soft but the portion was small. Even though I got the 3 piece combo plus ribs I wasn’t full at the end. Maybe it’s just a problem with their combo deal… Desserts were very good specifically the one with the caramel and brownie cookie. Was hard to stop eating it.

I’ve been coming here for atleast 15 years since I was a kid with my parents. It’s my favorite go to place whenever I need a good comfort meal that I know will hit everytime. I literally bring all my friends here for a calm dinner out or even a little date night lol. The staff is always nice and the food always is good. The chopped salad with the tres niños is my go to ! Makesure to try the cornbread and the sweet tea too! :)

Oldie but goodie, came in and sat at the bar it was happy hour and boy did it make us happy. The place wasn't too full. Josh the bartender did such an amazing job handling the bar and the tables in his area with attentiveness, grace and a smile. The ambience gives southern comfort. We only did an app on the happy hour menu the chicken bbq nachos delish and the Mac and cheese which was cheesy and gooey like I love. If you're in the park slop area by the Barclays center stop in.

If you’re looking for great brisket in Brooklyn, you’ve found it. Perfectly juicy and tender. Highly recommend the mac and cheese and the donkey punch as well. Our server Z was incredibly kind and helpful. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes.
